Amazing evening between friends. The food is great, loaded Nachos and delicious fungi pie. The staff was very lovely ! The only thing is the music is quite strong and you have to shout when having a conversation so sensitive/tired people beware of sensory overload View all feedback.

Was at the Camel on Saturday night, looked like a nice pub especially on a wet night. But the night left me and my friends feeling very uncomfortable. Saw an Asian guy (he still had his NHS id badge on his belt, must have come...from work), there with his girlfriend get racially abuse by white guy, we could hear it a few table away. This pub is truly special! The staff is incredibly friendly and the outdoor patio is perfect for enjoying a summer day. A hidden treasure in the neighborhood.
I've been back to see if I could give more stars, but Google won't let me. This pub is proper. A local establishment. If you don't have an interesting conversation with a total stranger here, you have likely visited when the pub was not open.
Warm and comfortable with homely decor, nice choice of food and good beers.
For the best pie and mash in East London, make sure to visit The Camel pub. I visited for the first time in 2009 and it has consistently impressed me over the years. The bar staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. They also offer a great variety of beers on tap that complement the delicious pies.
Great spot I love the alleyway worth th tables outside for when it’s warm. Food is good too
