This Turkish grill is absolutely fantastic! We went here because Da Tayabs was too crowded, and I'm so glad we did. It’s located on the same road and offered us a delightful experience. We had our own private room, and the staff took great care of us. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked over open coal burners. What on earth happened.. This was once such a good place BUT its under new management I persume and its terrible...Staff dont understand simple requests/English have to be told everything, food was lukewarm NOT fresh Its a utter joke and to think I will pay Service Charge. Such a shame. It was soo embarassing I even took my family there. Even the deco changed made it look tacky the list is endless View all feedback.
I have been coming here for many years its not the same unfortunately its quality of the food isn’t so good as it used to be, customers service is good its nice and spacious. You have everything near by.
I went there today 16/08/24 with my family. My under ages child was served gone off chicken. The staff were not even quick to respond they just stood there staring at me until my husband insisted that they tried the chicken. After which one staff took it back to the chef and the chef confirmed that the chicken steak was slightly off. I was furious that they had served gone off chicken. I was concerned my child would get food poisoning the waiter gave a lousy response oh its okay the chicken isn’t that off like that was meant to reassure me. I can only advice and warn steer clear with children and eat at your own risk.
Ideally located next to East London Mosque I often treat myself to lunch after Juma/Fridays Congregational Prayers as I find their grilled food very tasty and modestly priced.
Mashallah Best food ever had in East London. The behaviour of waiter was very nice.
Very satisfied for the food and the service. Thanks to Qasem and his team for the wonderful service. I highly recommend .
