We're truly saddened that Shoto is closing. We've visited both of its locations over the past 4 or 5 years, and we absolutely love the concept and the overall experience. Each time, we've enjoyed the exquisite food and drinks, as well as the wonderful interactions with the talented chefs. Food was great but considering the 125$/per person price tag, nothing I ate left me with a feeling that I needed to rush back to eat there again. Interesting and fun experience overall, blind tasting menu while watching the kitchen staff prepare the courses was definitely an experience, but a one off for me, as in my opinion I can get a far more enjoyable meal for half the price or less at other spots around the city...
