Was User at Mofer Coffee St. Clair a mag?
I have bought roasted beans on-line several times from Mofer. The quality of the beans, esp the Harrar has been excellent. On one occasion where Canada Post misplaced' my order, I was able to reach them (Milkyas Tefera, I think) by phone and they sent a replacement shipment. Too bad that the prices have been creeping up, but you get what you pay for hopefully some of the higher prices are filtering done to the produc... View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mofer Coffee St. Clair:
I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service at this restaurant. I paid for two coffees using the tap interface, which showed the approval receipt. As I was walking back to my car, the cashier followed me and informed me that my payment had not gone through. She explained that there was an issue with the system showing another order instead. After confirming the status of my card, I made the payment again. Desp... View all feedback.
I discovered this coffee shop on Instagram with beautiful pictures and decided to visit. I first went to the location on Danforth and then to the one on St. Clair. The decor, atmosphere, cleanliness, coffee, and snacks were all great! It's a lovely spot to work as well. However, I was disappointed that they sell various types of Ethiopian coffee beans but do not offer them in their drinks. I ended up buying a pack of espresso beans, but the espresso lacked a coffee aroma. Additionally, the baristas at both locations seemed unhappy and did not smile at customers. I don't think I will be giving this place a third chance.

As I was walking back to my car, the cashier followed me and informed me that my payment had not gone through. She explained that there was an issue with the system showing another order instead. After confirming the status of my card, I made the payment again. Despite the confusion, I appreciated the cashier's diligence in resolving the issue. The quality of the coffee, however, was not up to my expectations. The receipt had shown "approved" but the taste did not match. I checked my statement later to ensure I was not double charged.
This coffee shop has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When I ordered a small black coffee, the person who helped me held the lid of the cup with her entire hand, including the hole where the coffee is poured. When I requested a new lid, a man who seemed to be in charge questioned why it was necessary. I explained that the previous lid had been contaminated, but he dismissed my concerns by saying that they also handle the coffee with their hands. I was shocked by the lack of hygiene and professionalism. To make matters worse, when I threw away the contaminated lid, the man took it and mixed it with the clean ones. Overall, this place is unhygienic and a waste of money and time.
Great atmosphere, coffee has a unique but great taste. Highly recommend the iced caramel latte! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $1–10
