Hot Star Chicken on Yonge St offers Taiwanese style fried chicken cooked to order. The $10 whole chicken was hot, delicious, and mostly boneless, but lacked sides. The cashier experience was negative, but the chicken was juicy and crispy. The XXL chicken was good for 2 people, although the popcorn chicken was a bit dry. Best fried chicken ever, customizable and freshly made. Additionally, the cheese chicken, sweet potato, and mushroom were highly recommended. The Korean style chicken wings were tender and crunchy. Overall, a great place for delicious fried chicken, despite some service issues.
