Was Isaac Slings at Classic Bean a mag?
Carbonated beverages are a bit on the high price but I'll chalk it up to inflation. Buffalo chicken wrap didn't really taste like buffalo and the men's restroom has urine stained seats. If you're here for coffee it might be worth a look View all feedback.

I really enjoyed the coffee and food. However, our only interaction with staff was with a young woman, who appeared to be around 16 years old, and her behavior was quite unprofessional. She used inappropriate language towards my wife and me, and gave us a nasty glare when there was a mix-up about whether our food was for takeout or not. This significantly impacted our experience. There are not enough words or stars to express how much I adore this coffee shop, especially the downtown location. You can tell how much Doug pours his heart and soul (and espresso) into his cafe. The art exhibits are cycled every couple of months, I believe. Both locations feature local artists who hang their musings on the walls and into the eyes community, giving everyone (locals and visitors), a chance to connect and even support local businesses and art communities. The ambiance is quiet, warm, and inviting. Their radio is soft enough to have pleasant conversations over but just loud enough to take in your surroundings. In addition, their music selection is broad: from the 60s to current hits – No matter what is on their radio, it adds that extra touch of familiarity. Every Thursday, I stop in with large drink orders, which Nicole and Doug handle like champs. To add, they remember names and orders – and not just mine and my co-workers: Time and time again, I witness a patron walk through the front door, and Nicole or Doug are already preparing that person's order and greeting them by name and a smile. This coffee shop is a staple and a beloved gem of the Topeka Community. I love this place and I love you, Doug and Nicole! Thank you for making my mornings so warm and bright!
Coming from Europe and Seattle I do not expect the same quality of coffee or food but I do expect decent customer service. This place reflects the subpar service Topeka Kansas is known for. the waitress who comes off as a worldly know it all. Atmosphere: dueling banjos would fit the decor! I love the place. It’s such a vibe. However, I can’t get over how little effort goes into making coffee in the morning. The staff, for the most part, is great. The girls in the morning are awesome, but their coffee making skills are beyond subpar. One heavyset blondish girl corrected me and looked at me like I was a peasant standing before royalty, just because I asked for a coffee outside the order she prefers. She clearly wanted to make a point and insert herself. Almost every time I go in, she is sitting down with a sour look on her face. This morning the coffee was so terrible.
