Best meal we've had all week to be honest. I had a meat and chickpea stew and my partner had fish with this really lovely sauce. Not flavours we've tasted before which is something we love to experience
We dropped in for a late lunch. Service was weak from the outset: slow to bring menus and even slower to come for our order. However, the food came reasonably quickly for what it was, and was good: schnitzel and chips, and a tuna salad (witj a good quantity of tuna). The salad had to go back as it had a dressing on it, contrary to the order, but that may have been a language misunderstanding and was quickly sorted.
We have passed this place so many times previously but tried after a recommendation and we were very pleased we did. Nice friendly waiters and quick service. Freshly prepared tasty food and adequate portions for most appetites. Homely atmosphere outside seating makes it good on a hot day.
The food may not be the prettiest but has an authentic homemade flavour, even the salads are excellent! Bar tender was also happy to help as best he could with directions around the town. Drinks are also fabulous, would highly recommend the coffee.
When arrived to the restaurant it was empty. Menu is good, but cappuccino they are serving is ecstatic. Needed to order two cups (served with whipped cream and cinnamon), because it was so good! I had seabass and my partner had chicken breasts. Both dishes were good. Service was friendly and helpful.
