The lady behind the bar was incredibly lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate my vegetarian children. She was so kind to them and truly an asset to the business. She even allowed them to create their own pasta from scratch. They claimed it was the best pasta they’ve ever had—no offense to Mom! But none taken! View all feedback.

The fish and chips was good although a bit limited with the chips and coleslaw quantity. Good size fish. Chicken schnitzel was fried to death and had enough mash but again very limited coleslaw with it, mushroom sauce was good. The menu was less varied then was on the website. Very basic pub food. We enjoyed a delightful meal tonight featuring lamb shanks with roasted vegetables and plenty of rich gravy. We also had pan-fried fish and two orders of chips. The service was excellent and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
My initial impression of the restaurant was somewhat underwhelming due to the basic furniture. However, the staff were incredible, and the food was outstanding. We started with the garlic loaf, and for our main courses, we had the rooster burger and steak with garlic butter. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish it all! The prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place to everyone.
The fish and chips were decent, but the portions of chips and coleslaw were a bit limited. The fish itself was a good size. The chicken schnitzel was overcooked, though it came with a satisfactory amount of mashed potatoes; however, the coleslaw was again quite scant. The mushroom sauce was quite tasty. I noticed that the menu offered less variety than what was shown on the website. Overall, it felt like very basic pub fare. I don’t think I would return.
