we have may king used a few times in pastness and they were good. we tried for the first time because it has changed the hands and it has increased the quality to another level. the gentleman, who served us, was very polite, helpful and made some good recommendations (king prawn, spring onion and ingwer as well as duck and mushrooms) and the two recommended were on and tasty. very recommended and we will soon use kin... May used to be fantastic and the food was stunning. However, today the chicken satay was watery and tasteless with no peanut flavor, resembling the consistency of baby food. I order Chinese food at least once a week, and this is hands-down the best Chinese takeout in the area. The food is so good that they don't even need to offer free delivery. May, the lady who runs the place, is very helpful and accommodating. I always request no onions in my dishes, and she is always friendly about it. I would rate this place 10/10 every day.

We have been loyal customers of May King for almost thirty years. Despite trying out other Chinese restaurants, we always find that May King is the best. The food is consistently excellent and May and her staff always provide a warm and friendly welcome. This is why we are giving it a five-star rating.
My first visit to May King despite the fact they have been open for more than 30 years. I phoned our order in advance the meal was ready in ten minutes just in time for my pick up. The meal we had was hot,fresh and one of the best takeaways we have had in the area and reasonably priced . We'll be back !
Read review so thought we try tonight. I have never tasted such a bland meal in my life,the smell when opened was bad enough and the food was awful, We will stick to the Chinaman inFoster Ave from now on
