This is the best bar in the area! The atmosphere is friendly, and the people are down-to-earth. The drinks are fantastic, and the food is good too. They have great karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, hosted by Dennis Bailey, who is an excellent KJ with the best sound system in Terrell, TX. The place was nice quaint. However the drinks were reasonably priced, but i got a glass of Crown neat with a water chaser. I got this tiny shot in a glass for $6.00 it wasn't worth it! Also 10 minutes after the barmaid gave me the drink , she came over ? asked would i like to get another round before i could sip the one i had!!! I usually steer clear of karaoke bars, but the singers here were excellent and really set the mood. They performed a lot of classic tunes, which was even more enjoyable. We were definitely the youngest ones in the bar, and I'm 55! But the atmosphere was so lively and welcoming, it was just a lot of fun. There’s something special about a saloon-style bar in an old brick building that really adds to the vibe of the entire square. The owner, Nell, embodies the spirit of a proud entrepreneur. Not only did we have a great time, but the prices were also very reasonable. It felt wonderful to support a neighborhood bar that we hope to have nearby. We didn’t try the food, but I have no doubt it’s just as good as everything else there. I can’t wait to come back to watch a football match on a Sunday. My guess is it attracts a friendly crowd of Cowboys fans. We definitely need more bars like this!
