Was オッペケペー at Tiān Xià Chá Wū a mag?
To put it simply, it's delicious. The vegetables are crunchy, the white rice is flavorful, and the sauce pairs perfectly with them. There seems to be slightly less meat (pictured is a portion for two), but the vegetables, white rice, and miso soup more than make up for it. After watching Koji Fujikawa's YouTube, I really wanted to go, and finally I was able to have the long-awaited meal! The vegetable stir-fry is so delicious! The taste from this sauce and teppan is indescribable. As the owner suggested, I started with the normal sauce, and then added some grated garlic from the bottle on the table for another bite, and a bit of spice for another bite. The simplicity is what makes this sauce so wonderful! The rice, pickles, and miso soup all had a comforting taste that made me end up taking the sauce home with me without even realizing it. According to the owner, when making vegetable stir-fry at home, she recommends grating fresh garlic instead of using tube garlic as it contains salt.
Although it's not a feast, the food at this restaurant is soulful and satisfying for everyday consumption. It's simple, hearty fare that is good for the body with plenty of vegetables. On weekends, it gets so crowded that people come from far away. It may close early at times, so it's best to go early.
