I ordered my meal at the restaurant and the fries were missing. The staff expected me to come back and collect them, but it felt like they were saying, "We can give you the fries you paid for." I felt a bit insulted that there was no offer to compensate for the inconvenience of going out of my way to return or the fact that I had lost interest.
