What can I say. The clue is in the title, it's a pie and mash shop, and it fulfills all those promises and expectations. Pie, mash, liquor and eels are all good. Chilli vinegar is on the tables, just as it should be. Friendly staff, traditional decor, tasty, belly filling food. It's just as a Pie and Mash shop should be. And it's a good one too. My husband picked this up for us today and I was quite excited as I had not eaten it for a while. The liquor was very runny and had no taste at all. The pies were so thin that it was obvious there was very little meat in them. When I cut into my pie a lot of gravy came spilling out which was very greasy.
