I've been coming here for years and always love the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. The only issue preventing a higher food rating this time, was that my linguine with clams was a little dry, under-seasoned, and a bit skimpy on the clams. Otherwise it was a fun night with good food and great service.
Most of the pasta dishes our group ordered were decent but there was way too much sauce in each dish. The steaks we ordered could have used more basic salt/pepper seasoning
Exceptional place to enjoy all facets of dining. Food is outstanding and the service very personal.
The day we dined, the bus boy must have won the lottery as nearly a third of the tables presented dirty dishes scattered about although the restaurant was empty post lunch. Upon receiving the check, the server/hostess was disingenuous about the autogratuity of 18%. Hats off to the chef though! Enjoyed the cuisine.
Not very good. Especially at the prices they're asking. Ambiance is great and it's what drew us in. We got chicken and brie with sun dried tomato pesto in phyllo with a cream sauce for an appetizer. Sounds pretty good right? What came out was asimultaneously dry and soggy mess pretty sure the chicken phyllo wraps were microwaved, and also pretty sure the cream saucewas from a jar. My wife got the gnocchi, it was definitely store bought from Safeway. I had beef braciola beef was overdone,spinach in the center paradoxically was cold, and the red sauce tasted like a jar of Ragu. The meal set us back a hundreddollars and both of us regretted it.
