The Moon Mushroom is an award-winning public house established in the 16th century. It is a warm and welcoming pub and café with outside seating in a heated patio garden for the finer weather, and a cozy interior with a log-burning stove for the winter months. Situated only yards away from a community playground, popular dog walking routes, and tourist hotspots, we also offer free parking. Our menu includes breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, featuring delicious home-cooked food paired with a selection of fantastic coffees, teas, cakes, local cask ales, and fine wines.

Lovely cosy pub which is full of character. Visited for Sunday lunch after previously popping in for a drink a few months earlier and resolving to go back and try the food. Roasts were average and the gravy was rather thin. An extra jug of gravy was provided which, had it been good gravy, I would have been over the moon about. Nevertheless it was a nice touch.
