Spontaneous road trip to Michigan led us to this charming lake front bistro. We were greeted with a smile, and find a seat. As we made our way to the back by the window to take in the view of Lake James, we were happily distracted by the nautical ambiance. This place is a sad excuse for a restaurant. They are either never taking people, only taking reservations, or are closing early. The staff is rude. The food is mediocre. Any time I even think about trying this place again, I run into these problems. Also, their website DOES NOT WORK. So your only option to make reservations is to attempt to call them.
