Nice place and nice simple, historic rooms. However, we would have hoped for a warmer, guest-oriented reception. While the service at the table was very friendly and pleasant, we found the overall atmosphere in the hotel to be tense, not very flexible and characterized by excessive alcohol consumption on the part of the hosts.
