This was our second visit! We love it so much that we remembered its name and came back 13 years later. Our first visit was in February during the busy season, so I would recommend making a reservation. On our recent visit in August, a reservation wasn't necessary since it was outside of peak season. The view of Charlotte Amalie's harbor is stunning, and the ambiance is lovely. The service was satisfactory. However, the food was rather bland and lacked excitement. I ordered the filet with peppergrass sauce, and it was underwhelming—not impressive at all. My wife tried the chicken marsala, which was also decent but didn't offer anything memorable.

We are on vacation with our 16 year old son. This was an outstanding restaurant, from the decor to the service to the food. The surf and turf was incredible. My wife had stuffed salmon equally great. My son had the chicken parmigiana and is was fine but not like the other meals.
My husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary there this past weekend. We live on island and there are many good restaurants on the island, but i wanted to go someplace new so I chose Room With A View i am so glad we did. Terrific service, food and of course that view. Try to get one of the tables outside there are only 4 so I think the key is an early dinner and you probably have a better chance of having a table outdoors on veranda. Go here you will be happy that you chose it too. We will be back and bring our friends who visit us here on island.
