Mariah's restaurant offers a mixed dining experience characterized by excellent food and service in a pleasant atmosphere, overshadowed occasionally by noise and inconsistent service. I was truly disappointed with how long I had to wait for a someone to come and even offer me a drink, or even acknowledge me, for that matter. There were a total of 5 tables occupied during my entire stay, and that includes the 4 top that was seated about 10 minutes before I left and the 1 top who left shortly after I arrived. The owner of the restaurant finally stopped by himself and asked if I had been helped. I had not. Afterward, I heard him say something to the wait staff that included this is what I 'm talking about. The rest of the time, the server acted furtive at best. The food was fantastic. Maybe the best calamari I 've ever had, certainly among the best marinara. The steak was perfect. If not for the bad service, this would have been an easy 5 star.
The food was quite unusual. We really enjoyed our appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, but the main course was a different story. We ordered chicken Marsala, and it ended up tasting more like overly fried orange chicken.
Wow! I visited this restaurant for Valentine's Day and it was fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. The flavor was excellent. I highly recommend asking for our waiter, Mitch, who is also the butcher!

There was a storm that night so the restaurant wasn’t busy. Our salads were wonderful. We each order a steak and it was overdone and tough. The potatoes were dry. Service was good
