The Feed Store stands out for its excellent and reasonably priced food, including standout sandwiches like the Unholy Cow and comforting Wisconsin cheese soup. However, the atmosphere is marred by a disruptive management style, with reports of yelling at employees and rude customer interactions. Despite this, many patrons praise the friendly staff and welcoming, albeit loud, Victorian-inspired decor. The restaurant's convenient location near the Old State Capitol adds to its popularity, drawing both locals and tourists. While it offers a variety of delicious dishes, some diners noted a few missing details in their dining experience.

Was Susan at The Feed Store a mag?
The sandwiches we had (the Unholy Cow and corned beef on rye) were excellent and the customer service was really great. Really friendly people. What Thomas Coker dislikes about The Feed Store:
The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced, but the atmosphere was quite uncomfortable due to the manager, Dave, yelling at employees from across the dining area during lunch service. It seemed like the staff were accustomed to this kind of treatment, as they appeared to expect his outbursts and continued with their tasks. View all feedback.

Loved the Wisconsin cheese soup which was at least as good as any I've had traveling through Wisconsin.
