Menu
A comprehensive menu of Jak Hill from SPRING GULLY featuring all 38 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Despite some mixed reviews, Jak + Hill appears to be a popular spot for breakfast and brunch. The dishes, such as the Messy Eggs, Roast Pumpkin Bruchetta, Benidict, and sautéed mushrooms, all receive praise for their taste and quality. The variety on the breakfast menu is appreciated, and the coffee is also noted as being good. The atmosphere is cozy, with rustic decor adding to the overall charm. While some diners have experienced issues with service, such as long wait times and lack of attention from staff, others have found the service to be friendly and pleasant. Overall, Jak + Hill seems to be a decent choice for a meal in the CBD, with some improvements to be made in terms of consistency and service quality.

Had a great experience here for breakfast last Sunday with my friend. We had the breakfast plate and it wasn't disappointed! Good service and decent coffee. We will recommend! (Sorry I didn't get a good photo, but the presentation was great) View all feedback.
What Christ Runolfsson dislikes about Jak Hill:
Place: cold and uninvitingStaff: no smile and coldCoffee: cold despite asking specifically for super hot Breakfast: Eggs benedict has boiled eggs instead of poached and potato cakes are coldRoti and scrambled eggs does not have a roti but a pastry instead Worst breakfast ever in Brisbane. Hold up in Brisbane on a Saturday after my Friday flight was cancelled I found a lot of the city cafes dosed on the weekend . I have no regrets finding this place , great atmosphere , lovely staff, coffee was just the way I like it and I had a delicious healthy well presented breakfast . I took the eggs Benedict as my base because I liked the combination with avo, feta cherry tomatoes and rosti with no bread but I ditched the hollandaise and added halumi and chilli jam . Yum !
I had the eggs Benedict (or st least their version). It was fresh, delicious and had me wanting more! Eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was just the way I like it. Coffee was good, service was great and the atmosphere just what you want when you are eating breakfast. You can also get kombucha here too! Only criticism I have is that I wish they had some stevia for their customer to use in their coffees instead of just having raw sugar.
I have been coming to this cafe for years. It’s located on a back lane way 5 mins walk from the city close to Spring Hill.<br/ <br/ Is a funky open care that changes it menu very regular. <br/ <br/ There menu is not to huge but what they do they do it well. <br/ <br/ I had the mushroom breakfast it was so full of flavour and cooked to perfection I was full ambit I still wanted more because it was amazing ! <br/ <br/ My friend had the eggs Benedict and said it was amazing. <br/ <br/ The coffee is always on point. Not bitter !!!
Nice weekday lunch, Good coffee. I ordered the quinoa porridge and some reason was expecting something like cold Bircher muesli but it came out warm porridge, still tastes good with hints of cinnamon. Was seated straight away though they didn’t come to take my order until I reminded them. Still good service overall.
