I’m usually not the person to leave bad reviews, but me and my partner came here for about the 3rd time. Service was great the line was fast, but half way through my meal I’ve noticed a hair fried into my eggs : . We’ve notified the server and they were apologetic but I wish the situation was more taken care of than just a “we are sorry”. A refund wasn’t provided but we were offered a new meal. I typically don't order meatloaf and have never made it at home, but for some reason, I craved it tonight. So, I went for the Bison Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and it was just what I needed. The portion was quite generous, and it was prepared with a lot of well-cooked onions, which kept it moist. I enjoyed it but wanted to give a heads-up in case you’re not a fan of onions. The BBQ sauce on top was delicious and complemented the dish perfectly. My husband stuck to his favorite, Beef Stroganoff, and enjoyed it as much as he always does. And, of course, no belated Valentine’s date would be complete without dessert! We decided on the lemon chiffon cake, and we were thrilled with how light and fluffy both the cake and the lemon filling were. It wasn't overly sweet or too lemony—just the perfect light dessert to complement our rich meals. Oh, and we even shared a salad! They are in the process of updating their hours on Yelp, so if you're unsure whether they're open for dinner, I recommend giving them a call. Went out to Chaps on a Wednesday night for live music and a visit with friends. The atmosphere is amazing with a warm welcoming feel. Chaps isn't like other eateries where you feel like you've entered an interior design shop. Instead, Chaps makes you feel at home with comfortable decor and seating including a gorgeous outdoor patio. Surrounded by arborvites, rose bushes, flowers and lush greenery, the private patio is magical. There's a spot for little ones to play in a kids playhouse and at night decorative lighting creates a serene feel. The food is amazing, freshly made with fresh ingredients and Chaps has the BEST bakery items by far. Cakes, pies, scones, cookies and pastries and they include luscious gluten free options. The staff is amazing and there's a bar and meeting room plus another meeting room on the second floor. Don't miss this gem a short jaunt southfrom Spokane!
Chaps is definitely a restaurant that makes the wait worthwhile. Make sure to enjoy the time spent with your companions, because once the food and drinks arrive, you'll completely forget about how long you stood in line! The atmosphere here is warm and inviting, and the staff is consistently friendly. Celeste is often on hand, working diligently to ensure that her customers feel appreciated and well taken care of.
Friday live music. Great house band. Outside seating. Great drinks and wine choices. The food and service were good. The band and restaurant were great. All 4 of us had a great time.
