My family took me on a trip through the Wachau and were we lucky the sun shone he sky was blue and the Danube was almost due. What Aneta Petr doesn't like about Strandcafe Donauterrasse:
The setting cannot be beat. We did wine tasting at another location and walked along the Danube to reach it. We ate on the outdoor patio, on a gorgeous day. Many river cruise boats went by. They also have indoor seating. My apricot chicken on rice was just OK. They accept credit cards. Our waitress did not smile; the service got really slow when they got busy.
