However, when we arrived, the atmosphere felt off right from the start. A young blonde bartender gave us the dirtiest look as we approached. Before we even had a chance to sit down, she demanded to see our IDs, despite the fact that my daughter was wearing a sash and crown that clearly indicated she had just turned 21. We were at a bar, so we understood the need for IDs.
