Despite mixed reviews, Dasheene offers a unique experience with stunning views and a diverse menu. Fully unacceptable for the price. My first indication of a threatening catastrophe was a disgusting ladies' bath. After that, it quickly went downhill. We had the opportunity to pass our comments on the food to the cook. We actually tried to go on and on the road to Rabot at Chocolate Hotel, as we had gedimt there earlier in the week and it was stunning.
We live in sugar beach, but decided to explore other restaurants in the area. dasheene is certainly a step above all offers on sugar beach and a better value.
Upon entering the restaurant, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a drink and some small bites while taking in the view before being seated, which is a nice touch. The appetizers were better than the main meal, with the front tables offering amazing views. It is recommended to request one of these tables. Unfortunately, the bread was stale. The potato and leek soup was amazing (5 stars), but the snapper was overcooked and the coconut sauce was lacking in flavor. The hostess was friendly and kind, however, the waiter was not in a great mood. Overall, the restaurant receives a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
This restaurant was a complete disappointment considering the price. The first sign of trouble was the extremely unclean women's restroom. From there, the experience only got worse. We even considered leaving to go to Rabot at the Chocolate Hotel across the street, where we had a fantastic meal earlier in the week.
