Despite varied experiences, the Wetherspoons at the airport offers limited gluten-free options and subpar service. Some found their breakfasts cold and overcooked, while others were disappointed with the high prices, including a small bottle of prosecco for £9.40. However, for those familiar with the chain, the hidden clean air tax in Birmingham may come as a surprise. While some praised the restaurant, others were left unimpressed. Overall, it seems that this Wetherspoons location may leave some patrons wanting more.
I have visited this restaurant for breakfast before my flight a few times. Unfortunately, there were only two gluten-free options on the menu, which is quite disappointing. The staff were not very helpful and were not willing to modify other menu items to accommodate my gluten-free diet. I would not return to this restaurant unless they expand their gluten-free options. The only choices for me were porridge and a small cooked breakfast.
The prices at this restaurant are outrageous. I paid £9.40 for a small bottle of prosecco. The breakfast was disappointing as well. I had higher expectations for Wetherspoons, but this experience fell below my expectations.
A little expensive for my pleasure! e.g. breakfast in the center 6.40, while it was 13 pounds here! fortunately, I wasn't hungry, why? cuz id already ate a hearty breakfast in the center of frum, only rescue gnade, was the guinness, 5,75 sterling, but it...Make like the kind of pint they expect to find only in the land! creamy to the last drop!
We have got to say that this was the worst breakfast we have ever had in a Weatherspoons. Every thing was stone cold that came out on the two plates. The toast was soggy, the eggs were well over cooked, Very disappointed!
Staff horrendous and rude manager. I advise you to refer the manager on duty on at 12 o’clock 8th September on customer service training. Rude, aggressive and resembled a pit bull chewing on a wasp! Go round the corner to all bar one. Far better...and you don’t stick to the floor with staff that make your drink go sour!
