We decided to try the same Subway location (111 Northshore Dr in Slidell) again just now. I ordered and paid online. Minutes after my order, a Subway employee called my phone to let me know that I will have to call my credit card to cancel the transaction because she just got there and no meatballs are ready..... What? So, she then said that if i really want my order, I will have to wait 45 additional minutes. Very odd. Last month, we ordered curbside online. When we arrived to pick up, we were told that someone walked in and jacked our sandwiches... they had to make them over again.
Worse experience for Subway! Was not consistent with typical Subway freshness. Server made a mess of all three sandwiches he made, not to mention he had zero personality-think he hated his job, not sure. Will never go to this one again. May stop Subway all together-they aren’t consistent.
Today was the worst!!!! I love going to this subway, but today I was highly disappointed. My sandwich was so disgusting I bit right into a gross amt of mayo and mustard I wanted to throw up!!! I never had an issue before today, what a waste of money. You need to get it together!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere when I first entered this location, but I initially had concerns about the service. A woman at the register refused to give an elderly couple a cup of water, which struck me as odd. However, I didn’t let that bother me too much. I had a $20 gift card and offered to buy the elderly couple something to drink and eat. Although they politely declined my offer for food, they were happy to accept a drink. I also brought my sister lunch, including a cookie and a drink, while she was on her school break. I'm so proud of you, Sissy! On the other hand, I could tell that the woman at the register knew I wanted to order food for myself, but she ignored me. I chose not to dwell on it and stepped outside. As the elderly couple was leaving, my mother noticed them and mentioned that the elderly lady is my godmother! It had been so long since we last connected. After reconnecting with my godmother, I decided to try ordering my sweet onion chicken teriyaki footlong sub one last time, and I was successful, even though I had to pay extra. I also bought my mother some cookies, which made her happy. While I was taking pictures, the woman at the register asked what I was photographing. I politely explained that I was doing it for Google Reviews, but unfortunately, she didn’t understand and insisted that I leave immediately. At that point, I was quite upset. I didn’t understand why she was treating me as if I had done something wrong. I had paid for my food and was merely trying to capture moments of my experience.
