When I first walked in, I was little surprised this place is so highly rated. It's sorta a slightly mom and pop type setup. After chowing down though, I understood the rating. Definitely some of the better Ethiopian I've had in the area, and I've tried a few places. Reasonably priced and good portions. I had the best Eriterean food of my life. Almaz the lady who cooked the food is so friendly smiling and hard working. You must visit with your family.
I tried Ethiopian food for the first time last week at Elilta, and it was incredible. The Doro Wat was outstanding—definitely a must-try. I had to come back for the Key Wat because the food was just that good. For $15.99, you get a generous portion, which is an amazing value. The food was excellent!! My favorite new Ethiopian restaurant. We ordered the lamb, a vegetarian dish, and chicken. The flavor was on point. I will be back again.
