I dined in hotel during the two nights of my stay beautiful perfect personal environment and great food
Arrived late evening on a Sunday. Grumpy man at reception. We were put in a ground floor bedroom next to what seemed to be a communal or the staff toilet.. The bedroom overlooked a football pitch. We kept waking up during the night as someone with squeaky shoes kept going to the toilet outside our door. There was a smell of sewerage coming up through the washbowel plug which we detected when cleaning out teeth and it made us want to throw up. The breakfast next morning was just awful. Powdered coffee coming out of a machine like you see in hospitals etc. Fruit juice the same and it tasted weak and powdery. Poor selection of cereals and fresh fruit. All the cheapest. A shame as it was central and there were some good restaurants and cafes near by and the bus station.
This restaurant, located in the hotel where I stayed, had wonderful food, service, and variety of menu offerings. The server was very helpful and friendly.
Ate here two nights, no problem but would have preferred more choice of main course. Service, price and wine were quite acceptable. We did find one night very busy, the next almost empty
We had the lamb cutlets which were very good, but they came sitting on top of a great dollop of greens too much and no finesse.
