What Matt W likes about Ssyal — Chicago Korean:
Highly impressed, with food also with the ambience (the lighting just felt right, I kept telling my friend). I ordered the bibimbap, which had the perfect about the crisp on the rice. I only wished the egg was left a little less cooked, so the yolk could be spread as a sauce over the rice. Service was top notch, the waitress was really professional. View all feedback.

What V O doesn't like about Ssyal — Chicago Korean:
This is long overdue but I feel like I should still write it because it’s a Food Safety issue. I’ve always had their samgye Tang, which is what they are known for and it was great. Until once I decided to try their rice cake and bibimbap, that was a nightmare of severe FOOD-POISONING immediately after I consumed those: everything going up and down nonstop plus ongoing awful stomachache.
