Nestled in the picturesque Hillswick, the St. Magnus Bay Hotel impresses with a reputation for hearty meals and welcoming service. Diners rave about the Sunday carvery, featuring generous portions of expertly cooked meats accompanied by delicious sides, including homemade Yorkshire puddings. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, though experiences can vary, with some reporting less-than-enthusiastic service. The menu shines with well-prepared soups, exquisite entrees like pan-seared scallops, and decadent desserts. Despite some inconsistencies, many patrons express hope for a return visit, eager to enjoy more of the culinary delights that this gem of a restaurant has to offer.
What robjW4631KC likes about St Magnus Bay:
not eaten here for years, but the reintroduction of the old Sunday Carverys, and the current owners tempted us back, five for lunch, amazing, enough to feed 50 of us!!!, comes highly recommended, thank you Andrea and Jodie, you did us proud View all feedback.
What mmr1970 doesn't like about St Magnus Bay:
I visited the restaurant for their carvery lunch on August 6th. I was very disappointed with the behavior of the male owner.
