When the food was served, it looked impressive, but the taste left much to be desired, especially compared to several Japanese restaurants in Sydney. For example, the miso soup was overly salty, the avocado in the sushi was under-ripe and bitter, and the bulgogi was dry. The yakitori chicken was overwhelmed by soy sauce, making it extremely salty, and the chicken itself didn’t taste fresh.

Wow. This place exceeded expectations. First off the portions are HUGE. The sushi rolls are so fresh and flavoursome, easily the best I’ve had in Australia. Also had the curry noodles and chicken katsu which were both phenomenal. The service was also really quick and friendly.
