Brenda's Fish and Chip Shop offers unique battered Stickleback and freshly cooked big sausages at reasonable prices. Though some customers found the food disappointing, others praised the quick service, friendly staff, and classic ambiance. The traditional menu includes pies, gravy, and curry sauce, with a set meal costing just £5.60. The quality of the fish and chips is impressive, with soft peas, bread, and a cup of tea for less than five dollars. Overall, Brenda's is a no-frills, value-for-money option for a classic British meal.
What AlexSwallow likes about Moor Fisheries:
I went for lunch here and loved it. The food was tasty and excellently priced- I chose to eat in as there is a lot of seating. The atmosphere is so lovely. It feels like a real old-school place where they know their customers. I haven't heard so many people laughing and interacting with the staff like that, in many other places. Really worth a visit- especially if you have tired yourself out shopping on the Moor! View all feedback.
What Stewart O doesn't like about Moor Fisheries:
This has to be the only fish and chip shop that sells battered Stickleback and chips. I have never seen such small fish at a chip shop; I have seen bigger fish fingers. Take a 5-minute walk and go to Brenda's. View all feedback.
