probably the best fish and chips I tried in Britain. Fish always tastes fresh, it is never dry, teig is crispy and does not drip with oil. the pommes are the real business. after a visit there I became regularly. do not make a mistake, this place is not its regular fish and chip shop, the quality is much higher than it would expect from a place like this. a true hidden gem. We have tried this fish and chip shop a few times and the batter on the fish is always soggy and undercooked on the inside, the chips have, on a couple of occasions been undercooked both fish and chips seem anaemic, not the nice golden crispy batter and brown chips you get elsewhere !!
