We were both surprised at the variety and quality of the menu choices. Our four course dinner was quite exceptional for a hotel restaurant. The restaurant is split into quite a few different rooms, all varying in size. The staff were very attentive and polite . It was a really good dining experience. View all feedback.

This restaurant very much has that old fashioned English hotel breakfast room/restaurant feel and so is pretty much scoring a zero on atmosphere. That said, the building itself and grounds do have a real old English charm, somewhat diminished by the busy A19 road at the end of the drive. As for the food, it was ok.
