What Z L dislikes about Patagōn:
Ordered medium rare steak. Way overcooked and very dry. The restaurant was quite empty on a Friday night which says something. The host let us sit down before our whole party gets here which was very nice of them, and ourserver was patient. View all feedback.
Delicious breakfast with plenty of healthy choices. The service was excellent. We tried the spring vegetable frittata, brisket hash, and grain bowl, and we had a great time.
I'm not entirely convinced that this deserves the title of an Argentine steakhouse, but here we go. First off, the wood grill produced some of the best-tasting vegetables I've had in a long time—definitely a five-star experience! My flank steak had a lovely wood flavor, though I personally prefer a bit more charring. That said, it was cooked exactly to my liking. The wine selection was decent, but the cocktails fell flat, even with gimmicks like smoke infusion. The staff was friendly, and the chef was welcoming. Overall, I liked the restaurant, but it felt like it was missing that extra something to really make it "special." Perhaps it’s trying to be a bit too many things at once.
Patagōn, an Argentinian restaurant, specializes in a rotating menu and different cuts of steaks. Their service is pretty good here, and their prices are a little above average, but you get delicious food and a good experience. Try to sit at the chef's table if possible so you can get good recommendations and views of the chef cooking. Carrots and avocados are good sides to pair anything with. Pretty much any steak cut is delicious, just ask your server what they think!
I visited for both breakfast and dinner. The food was tasty, well-presented, and what you’d expect from a 4-star hotel. However, the service was a bit slow during dinner, and the atmosphere felt dull — mostly individual diners eating alone for work. I also didn’t like that they automatically added a 20% tip to the bill. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This review is for the brunch. Patagon is the restaurant inside The Charter Hotel, which is part of Hilton. It’s really nice inside. The bar is beautiful and greets you on the left as you walk toward the host. The kitchen is to the right. The brunch menu is honestly meh. The cheeseburger $21 was the only thing that seemed decent to me. The beef patties were tasty, but the portion size was small. The chicken quesadilla $18 was so disappointing. It was so dry, and there was barely enough salsa for the chips. The mango salsa was a joke. This is an Argentinian restaurant? The server was nice. Bathroom is in the hotel lobby. You need to exit the restaurant to reach it. No wifi. Indoor seating only. Apple Pay/credit card accepted. Can charge the bill to your room.
