I haven’t had Paseos in a long time, so I decided to give it another try. The sandwich itself wasn’t as good as I remembered—felt like it was missing a bit of the flavor I used to love and it was a bit dry. The meat-to-bun ratio for the highly recommended "#1 sandwich" is fantastic, featuring generous portions of pulled pork on a warm toasted bun. Be sure to grab some napkins, as the juices tend to drip everywhere if you're not ready. There's just the right amount of fat and grease, making it indulgent without being overwhelming. The location is near Showbox, so it can get quite busy, but there are 4 free parking spots available out front. It was a bit cool inside, but the sandwich really hit the spot. The Cuban pork sandwich cost around $13.50 after tax.
The sandwich was enormous and packed with flavor! I was impressed by the generous amount of meat inside. It was a bit messy to eat, so we ended up using utensils. The fries were also incredibly crispy and delicious!
