Once a beloved dining destination, this restaurant now faces mixed reviews highlighting inconsistencies in food quality and service. While the ambiance remains cozy and inviting, with commendable cocktails, many diners are disappointed by overpriced, small portions and a service fee that feels excessive. Some dishes, like the clams and cabbage salad, receive praise, but others like the underwhelming wings and cold entrees leave a sour taste. Despite the fluctuations, the restaurant still attracts patrons, especially during happy hours, bolstered by a few standout meals and an attentive staff.

Was Anonym at Palace Kitchen a mag?
It always tastes like a fancy meal here. From one of the best hamburgers and pommes to baked chicken, you can't go wrong! Flavors are real, simple, pure. And a great attentive staff deserves their inclusive service fee on account. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Palace Kitchen:
Came here for happy hour. The host didn't seem to be adept at what he's doing, since it took more than 5 minutes to find a seat when there were less than 10 people in the restaurant. When we got seated, the waitress was super disturbed since we moved the table a bit to give us more space. The food was mediocre half cold. The mussels were not fresh, the sauce for the wings were too sour, steak was too done. Only highl... View all feedback.
What a gem of a find in downtown Seattle! Traveling from Denver and arriving late night, this was one of the only restaurants open in Downtown at 11pm, what was awesome! The food was TO-DIE-FOR and the drinks were delicious! Warm vibes and the wood fired food makes for a cozy ambiance. I visited twice and the service was amazing the first time, with the waitress being to attentive and quick. The second time, the service was lack luster and quite disappointing.
Sadly the palace has become mid. Used to be a fav but the food has become poorly cooked and everything over salted. Will try again. Also the bathroom looks like some house flipper effort compared to the palace vibe they're trying for. Also starting tip at 20% GTFO
The menu here is perfect not too large, not too small and deliciously Northwest. We ordered trout and vegetable sides and all were executed perfectly. Our servers were available and attentive, our drinks were delicious as well. The one small issue is that the lighting is very low it can be a little hard to read the menu for some.
Excellent everything! Price per person: $30–50 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend
I hadn 't been to Palace Kitchen in many years, and my best friend took me and some family there for my birthday a couple days ago. I have to say, I think it 's just gotten even better! The food and service were both really outstanding (we ordered a bunch of appetizers as well as 6 different entrees, all fantastic)! My bestie ordered the trout but was hesitant since it 's bone-in . He knew he 'd make a mess of that. But our server, Jules, said not to worry, that she 'll do it at the table. It was so fun to watch her! She expertly and smoothly boned that fish and made it look easy, which I 'm sure it was not easy to learn to do so smoothly. Everything was amazing, I 'll definitely be back!
