Co-founded in 2014 by Joe Sundberg, Rachel Johnson, Patrick Thalasinos, and Chef Alex Barkley, this establishment offers freshly prepared, innovative New American cuisine. The food was mostly delicious! I highly recommend the mussel toast and the grilled hamachi tuna collars, which were a special on the day we visited. The atmosphere and vibe were fantastic, and we really enjoyed sitting outdoors. Food: 5/5
This is a great place for a group meal. They serve the dishes family style, allowing you to try a variety of items from their pleasantly concise menu. The cocktails were creative and very enjoyable. The food is served in a sequence that keeps the experience lively and engaging. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.
Charming Latin fusion and New American restaurant boasting an impressive cocktail menu. The Brazilian cheese bread was absolutely irresistible—some of the best I’ve ever tasted! We couldn’t get enough of it! We sampled a range of dishes, including raw items, salads, skewers, and whole fish. It is on the pricier side given the portion sizes, but we had a wonderful experience overall. P.S. Pets are welcome in the courtyard (which isn't covered), but not allowed on the patio (which has a roof).
This restaurant used to be one of my favorites before the pandemic, and I finally had the chance to return tonight. The food was just as amazing as I remembered, and the service was attentive. We were a bit chilly in the atrium, but overall it was a fantastic experience!
The kipper sandwich was delicious. However, I found the bagel to be less chewy than I would have liked, which made for a more challenging bite (not quite like the New York style). My wife thought the lox sandwich was lacking in smokiness. The salt on the chocolate cookie didn’t quite appeal to me. The espresso drinks were decent, but I think I'll opt for Stone Wolf next door next time. Overall, enjoying brunch on the covered patio next to the stone fire pit was a lovely experience.
