Little gem of a place. The food is well priced but the quality of it is amongst the best I’ve had in all my travels all over the world. The specials are terrific. The beer is cold but the hospitality is warm. Rooms are comfortable. Really recommend the place if you’re staying in Cumbria.

Had a lovely meal here, was so much better than I expected I picked it purely out of convenience of location but the food was fantastic! Prawn starter was fresh and lovely flavours and the burger was one of the best I have ever had! A fabulous, well priced meal a really pleasant surprise!

Had our daughters christening here today and it was wonderful! food was excellent and staff were fantastic. thank you!
