Pinnacle Peak Patio, established in 1957 as a general store and rest stop, has evolved into the world's largest western steakhouse. Known for its delicious mesquite broiled steaks and casual western atmosphere, the restaurant also enforces a strict NO NECKTIE POLICY. This tradition began when an executive refused to remove his tie and the owner cut it off with a butcher knife, leading to over a million ties being removed from unsuspecting customers and displayed on the rafters.
