Absolutely fantastic location for those looking for relaxation, for those looking for a top location for companies in Franconian Switzerland and for those who want to eat really well! The proximity to Bamberg is brilliant, super friendly and family atmosphere.

Super staff, delicious food and the hotel is very clean. Also as a wheelchair user (Fit) you get clear.
The restaurant and the entire complex are absolutely stunning. However, I was rather disappointed with the food. It was good, but for the relatively high prices, I simply expected more flavor. Furthermore, we had to wait quite a long time for our food. I'd say it's well-suited for hotel guests, but I wouldn't come here specifically for the meal.
We had the pleasure of enjoying an unforgettable stay at Hotel Schloss Burgellern in Schesslitz and can highly recommend it. From the moment we entered the castle, we were impressed by the elegant atmosphere and historic architecture. The hotel has been lovingly restored and offers a perfect blend of tradition and modern comfort. We booked a three-day package with half-board and were completely satisfied. The room was not only spacious and stylishly furnished, but also very comfortable and quiet, ideal for restful nights. The quality of the food deserves special mention: dinner was a true highlight. The team truly outdid themselves with fresh, regional ingredients and creative dishes. The breakfast buffet was also varied and plentiful, providing the perfect start to the day. Fried eggs were decorated with artistic flowers made from vegetable pieces – a real eye-catcher. The service throughout the hotel was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and attentive. We felt welcome at all times, and attention was paid to every detail. The hotel's peaceful location was particularly pleasant, ensuring a relaxing stay without sacrificing any amenities. For anyone seeking a break in a special setting, Hotel Schloss Burgellern is the ideal choice. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Frédérique and Dieter
