What Anonym dislikes about Peter Pause:
First timer for breakfast. Place was empty. Food was prepared fast but the toast was burnt. Seems like it should have been fixed since there was no one else waiting for food. Place looked clean enough and the waitress was nice so no issues there. The eggs were good, the bacon was good but the potatos weren't very good at all. Tasteless and barely warm. No steak eggs on the menu, and the homefries were the saddest and soggiest I had ever experienced.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, despite living in Schenectady for 16 years. The food was excellent - the poached eggs, potatoes, and thick sliced rye toast were all delicious. My companion ordered the Irish Benedict and was extremely satisfied as well. This is now my new favorite casual breakfast spot!
The restaurant's operating hours need to be updated. I tried to go a little before 1 pm, and they said they closed at 1:30, but they were already closed. This happened on a Tuesday. It doesn't seem like the same place I remember from my childhood.

Excellent meal! Felt like I went back in time. To the good old diner days. Best coffee I have had in a long time! My Greek omelet was cooked to perfection! Device was great too!
