This is my wife’s and my favorite restaurant! We visit twice a year, and we're excited about our upcoming winter trip. Our friends in Cincinnati often tease us for heading north during the winter, but we truly love the season! Of course, we also enjoy going north in the summer. Ordered pizza . Wings onion rings. No onion ring came. They brought them finally. Never checked on drinks; went to bar and asked for an ice tea. Never after ordering did she come back to our table. Asked three employees for pizza box and food box. Finallygot one. A struggle to get anyone to take our money. Hands down worst service ever. FOOD WAS GOOD View all feedback.
My first visit to the restaurant was outstanding—great service and delicious food. However, during my second visit, things took a turn. We arrived at 8 PM on a Saturday night and were seated at a table, but in the ten minutes that followed, several employees walked by us with seven different paintings and didn’t acknowledge us at all. Eventually, we decided to leave because we hadn’t received any service.
One of my new favorites in Sandusky. We arrived and waited a while. Several people who worked there passed us and didn't say a thing to us. Eventually the bartender who was actually busy, came to us to seat us. The place is not much to look at. Kind of a typical bar that is disorganized looking with random seats and odd places to store stuff. If you are looking for ambiance, this is not the place. There was a browns game going on and they were blasting the TVs. But once again, it's a bar. We were pleasantly surprised at the prices for the food! We ordered and the food was also surprisingly fast to come out and our waiter, kept the refills coming faster than I would have ever expected for how busy it was. The food came out and I seriously had one of the best burgers I have had in the longest time. Perfectly cooked so flavorful!! Bravo!! The kids LOVED the chili. My husband LOvEd the pulled pork. Ok, we LOVED all of the food!! It was such a breath of fresh air to have a family meal that was so good for a good price with good service. And to find it in a pub! We will be definitely coming back next year when boating season starts back up again!
Sat down at one of the sidewalk tables on a gorgeous sunny day within sight of the lake. Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich with fries complemented with a cold draft beer. Tasty, I highly recommend it.
One of the top 5 Pub and Grills in the nation... A very relaxed, enjoyable environment. If you need to unwind, this is the place to come to. Stop by and enjoy great food and the beverage of your choice. They offer a wide variety of local and domestic beers, and a vast selection of liquors. Great staff and prices...
Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and amazing beers on tap. Will definitely visit again when in town.
