60 yrs ago, I, my mother and Lorraine E. went on a Santa Cruz county beach excursion. While returning home Lorraine stopped someplace and purchased some kind of drink of orange juice and ice cream. So delicious I tried to emulate that drink. Close but something was definitely missing. That was me at nine yrs. Finally stopped by the Dairy Queen on Bay Avenue, Capitola and got the big cup.
