We always visit in September or October, when La Cotiniere is less busy, and consequently the restaurants are under pressure. I think this is why we always seem to get them at their best! La Chaloupe cooks fish wonderfully, and prepares shell fish like oysters very well. Really disappointed My husbands huitres we’re fine but my Soupe de poisson was awful.. barely tasted of fish with hardened rouille .. yuk .. also my fish was perfect but covered in a non descript brown sauce ...this was the 26 Euro menu and we’re having a drink only here tonight... the good point is the nice view of the harbour...
