Drove to Le Bonne Bouchee to get my girlfriend a fruitcake for her birthday. I was there at 7:15 a.m., wanted to get a coffee and a breakfast, but the cafe part wasn't open so I just walked the pastries. I ordered the medium Fruit Cake, a chocolate croissant and a small place of the Gooey Butter Cake, it was solid Gooey Butter Cake but not the most moist I ever tasted. Pastries were delicious. The price was great! Our poor server had far too many tables and could not keep up with the coffee and other demands so, through no fault of her own we often sat waiting.
