This is a restaurant I never miss when visiting Montreal. It has been around forever and has THE best, lean, tender smoke meat in town! If you want to drive from the tourist smoked meat restaurants and go to where locals go, this is the place. I grew up here and I will forever go here. People come here for the smoke meat, and they do do it well. You can order a variety of meat portions, for your sandwich, as well as lean or fattier cut. However, the poutine comes with mozzarella cheese! I did not think that I would have to ask if they were using real curds. I tried the Reuben sandwich and it contained a generous portion of smoked meat, but I could hardly find the cheese. View all feedback.
