Plank's Tavern - Saint Joseph

Planks restaurant was recently the host of a special event featuring a guest chef making amazing pizza, complete with a DJ and great service. While the drinks were a bit on the pricy side, the overall experience was enjoyable. Guests have praised the excellent food, service, and atmosphere at Planks, recommending it to others. Some minor issues included the lack of a sign at the entrance which caused confusion, and one guest's disappointment when the restaurant forgot to bring out a dessert for their father's birthday. The sushi night received mixed reviews, with some finding it lacking in flavor, while others enjoyed the top-notch service, fantastic food, and extensive wine list. The Mariscada and octopus dishes were noted for being delicious and full of flavor, making it a great place to dine with family. Despite experiencing a flood, the restaurant continued to impress with exceptional food and a lively atmosphere that some found noisy but manageable for the quality of the food. Visitors from out of town were impressed with the quick service and excellent food quality, even during a busy time. Another diner praised the early dinner special and attentive service, highlighting the sesame-crusted tuna dish as particularly outstanding. Finally, those who prefer to visit Planks during the off-season found brunch to be a delightful experience, with perfectly cooked food and attentive service making it a must-visit from October to April.
