Formoli's Bistro was founded in 2008 by husband and wife Aimal Fromoli and Suzanne Ricci. Their vision was to create a cozy 10-table restaurant with a focused menu that celebrates delicious food using simple techniques. Sourcing their ingredients from local California farmers and butchers, Formoli's draws inspiration from various European cuisines including Italy, Spain, and France. Due to the intimate nature of the restaurant, the menu changes frequently, but some popular dishes like Medjool dates stuffed with goat cheese and a Peruvian-style poutine with sliced NY steak, Peruvian pepper sauce, peperonata, and fromage blanc make regular appearances. Past dinner offerings have included a double cut pork chop with honey horseradish glaze and roasted garlic tortelli with roasted broccoli, fromage blanc, and cauliflower purée.
